The 40 Days USA initiative was created and sponsored by various national organizations. We are very grateful for these collaborative ministries making 40 Days USA a unifying force for prayer across the nation.

National Day Of Prayer
The National Day of Prayer mission is to encourage Americans to participate in a day of national prayer that’s held on the first Thursday of the month of May each year.
The official National Day of Prayer began back in 1952 with a bill passed by Mr. Conrad Hilton of Hilton Hotels and Senator Frank Carlson of Kansas. Following the bill, The National Day of Prayer committee was officially assembled in 1979.
The committee now works hard each year to provide resources and inform individuals across America about everything related to the yearly National Day of Prayer.
Intercessors For America
Intercessors For America (IFA) strives to provide Christians with news about our nation and to pray for our country, the government, and our nation’s leaders. Since its founding in 1973, IFA has worked to avoid being political while upholding a biblical position on the issues our nation faces.
The core issues IFA focuses on include religious freedom, life, national security, education, spiritual warfare, and more. You can support the IFA movement by pledging to pray or taking action on their website by sending a message directly to our nation’s leaders.
OneCry
OneCry is a diverse group of Christians with the mission to inspire, resource, and mobilize the body of Christ to seek God for revival and spiritual awakening. They provide resources, outreaches, coaching, and events to help inspire and mobilize believers to seek God.
OneCry encourages individuals to join their movement by beginning their own personal revival journey or by creating a prayer group within the community. They desire to see 50,000 intercessors, 5,000 voices, and 500 partner ministries pledged to unite and proclaim the hope of Christ for revival in the church and spiritual awakening in the lost.
America’s National Prayer Committee
America’s National Prayer Committee (NPC) was started by a small group of national ministry leaders in the early 1970s. They helped to pass the bill related to the National Day of Prayer, and collectively founded the National Day of Prayer Task Force (NDPTF).
The NPC represents the Christian expression of prayer for America. Their goal started as and continues to be guiding and uniting Americans in prayer within the United States.
Collegiate Day Of Prayer
The goal of Collegiate Day of Prayer (CDOP) is to pray for and with every college campus across America. All 4,190 college campuses across America are “adopted” by individuals each year who set aside time to pray for the students, faculty, and campus life of their adopted campus.
Although the organization promotes one day of collegiate prayer, they work hard with supporters to pray and fast for the 40 days leading up to the CDOP too. They provide their partners a variety of resources to enhance their prayer journey and experience as they unite in prayer for our nation’s colleges and universities.
C4One
C4One was founded on 4 main pillars: to unite, inspire, develop, and deploy Missional Leaders and Influencers. They are a non-profit organization focused on uniting leaders and igniting transformation within the community.
C4One provides fellowship and discussions for leaders of all kinds. Their main outreach programs include Men Following Christ, Women in the Workplace, and the Global Leadership Summit, intended for leaders in every field.
Truth At Work
Truth At Work is a marketplace ministry that serves Christian business leaders across America through their Peer Advisory Groups. These groups apply Biblical truth for living out the Christian faith in all areas of life.
Truth At Work encourages the interaction of faith, life, and business that transform individuals with an eternal perspective through deep, authentic relationships in biblical communities grounded in glorifying God.
